Carolina Coast Collision

I’ve had multiple Mercedes that have visited Carolina Coast Collision over the years. Today I rolled up with my splash guard dragging on the road after rolling through deep storm water this past weekend. They were great, a huge help and had it fixed and on my way. There’s a reason I keep coming back. The staff is personable, timely, and caring and offer great work at a fair price. I feel as if they always go above and beyond and it keeps me coming back when I need to. Thanks for taking care of Wilmington of the years we appreciate you.

Work was done as promised and the service rep, Robert Hines, was very pleasant and professional.

I think fortunately they explained that they would not work with the insurance company, so I didn't get involved beyond a phone call. I'm not sure how a collision company can have such a policy. one star.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. After being referred by my insurance company, I scheduled an appointment about a month later and dropped off my vehicle after hours. At drop-off, I was asked to sign a form stating that I agreed to pay any additional costs above what the insurance company covered. I added an asterisk and noted that they must call me before performing any additional work on my truck. Later that afternoon, I received a call informing me that no work could begin until we had an agreement in place. I clarified that I agreed to the amount reflected in the insurance company’s estimate, but that any additional damage or costs would first need to be submitted to the insurance company and then communicated to me. At that point, I thought everything was settled. However, just a couple of hours later, I received a very rude call—presumably from the owner—telling me to pick up my vehicle because they would not be working on it. I was told they did not have time to contact me about any additional work that might be needed. Why anyone would hand over a blank check to this company to do whatever they want without accountability is beyond me. For a business that

Ron is an amazing artist. His airbrush attention to detail is absolutely unmatched by anything I've ever seen. Although he only completed body work for me. My car has been here twice. Each time they took great car of the inside and washed the entire car prior to my picking it up. They are the only authorized body shop for Mercedes Benz in the area. After hurricane Florence, our roofers threw shingles over my car. Needless to say "throwing" wasn't what they were good at ! They're prices were fair and they were very comprehensive with their work. I would certainly take any car there. The staff was very informative and kept me in the loop of the progression of work from start to finish. Amazing body shop.
